Towing in Stonnington
This is the third entry in our Car Accidents Statistics series. Last month, we wrote about Monash’s towing statistics. The month before, we looked at the five-year history of towing in Boroondara. This month, we are looking at Stonnington.
We take our statistics from VicRoads. VicRoads report all accidents in which someone has been injured. This doesn’t include a number of our emergency towing services, such as when a car has broken down, become bogged, or simply won’t start. The statistics help policy makers identify the most dangerous roads and can help remind drivers to drive carefully.
Stonnington is the Local Government Area comprising of South Yarra, Prahran, Windsor, Toorak, Armadale, Kooyong, Glen Iris, Malvern and Malvern East. Stonnington really starts from Punt Rd/Hoddle St and extends out East. Its Northern border follows the Yarra (or Southern Link Tollway) down to Warrigal Rd. Stonnington’s Southern border is marked by Queens Way/ Dandenong Rd.
