Certain types of vehicles will require a tilt tray flatbed tow truck. Tilt tray tow trucks are designed to transport vehicles safely and most importantly without damage – especially those that can’t be towed by a traditional tow truck or wheel lift.
How does a Tilt Tray Flatbed Tow Truck work?
The large flatbed tray can tilt and slide to the ground typically leaving a 6-7-degree incline to drive or winch the disabled vehicle onto. Once onboard the flatbed tray can be levelled out, and the vehicle secured.
A tilt tray tow truck is great for any type of vehicle that requires to be transported safely without damage. Should the vehicle be undrivable it will be winched onto the flatbed with a minimum of ease, secured using a state-of-the-art wheel tie-down system and transported to your choice of repairer.
